Specializing in Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi, Nao Sushi caters to events with a flair for authenticity and elegance. Our client sought a branding solution that not only resonates with the traditional Japanese aesthetic but also incorporates the intricate elements of sushi into its design.
In crafting the visual identity for Nao Sushi, we ventured beyond conventional color schemes. While the red circle, reminiscent of the Japanese flag, stands as a testament to our inspiration, our color palette diverges into a realm of sophistication and subtlety.
My design inspiration is deeply rooted in the essence of sushi itself. The logo mirrors the structured elegance of sushi boxes, complemented by chopsticks poised on either side, ready to delve into the culinary experience. Embedded within this design is a nod to Japanese calligraphy, harmonizing tradition with our modern interpretation.
Our approach was to encapsulate the spirit of Nao Sushi in every aspect of its branding. The red circle, a homage to the Japanese flag, serves as a foundation for creating diverse patterns and applications. This symbolizes the unity and perfection sought in every dish served by Nao Sushi.
